Wirral Metropolitan College redo

Today we went back to Wirral Met to get some more cut aways and interview the hairdressing lecturer. Here are the questions that we asked:

When did you decide to become a lecturer?

Is your hair important to you? Why?

What’s your favourite celebrity hairstyle?

Which celeb has the worst hair?

What are your views on a person’s hairstyle and whether or not it gives them individuality?

What’s the best thing about being a lecturer?

And what’s the worst thing?

What is the worst thing that people do to their hair?

What advice would you give people about looking after their hair?

What’s the latest trend in hairstyles?

What are your views on how male hairstyles have changed over the years?

How do you train people to become hairdressers?

What are the skills needed to be a hairdresser?

What makes a good hairdresser?

What’s the worst thing a trainee has done?

Do you enter any competitions?

Any winners?

How has hairdressing changed (if at all) over the years?

Who do you think is the best hairdresser around?

What qualities make a good hairdresser?

Do you find you have to be a confident and sociable person to be a hairdresser?

Why?

'Blow your top' barbers re-shoot

Today we had to go back to the barbers because the first time we carried out the interview the framing wasn't right and we needed it to be tighter. Here are some pictures of our second visit to the barbers.

We used the same questions and the same  mise-en-scene/framing plan and made sure it was followed better
